Thanks for the invitation to Chinatown Food Street Supper Reunion Media Event . 

I seldom come to Chinatown during the night market , i guess this is my first time coming to Chinatown at 9 pm + ! People always thought that during the timing usually people will head back home and by right , should not have so much crowd. Hmm , in order to answer to the question , scroll down to know more from the picture :) 

I am In love with how Chinatown looks like.

They have those old traditional housing feeling and with the amount of people and stores , 

it brings back memories of how Night Market is like as previously i was in Taiwan for 4 months and their night market really WOW !

Chinatown is full of people and with lots of different Chinese New Year goodies 

and display items !

Is a place where you will not want to miss it during Chinese New Year Season. 

He is the MC just a while and he left . 

I not sure what is his name but i am sure that people around my age and older will 

sure recognize him as he did appear on drama on TV before. 

Before i start talking about food , let me share about what this Chinatown Food Street  

is all about : 

I believe that most Singaporean will agreed with me that usually at night , we will feel hungry and what make it worst is that people will start to post food photo on Instagram ! At such a late timing , how to get those nice food ? Don't worry ! Chinatown Food Street is going to solve your problem ! From now 14 Feb 2015 to end of March 2015 ,you can head down to Chinatown Food Street for supper as they are open till 2am daily for supper ! Its totally a awesome place for you to chill lax and enjoy the food because during the night time , is very windy and cooling . You will love it ! 

You will not just enjoy the food there but there is also beautiful Chinese New Year decorations around and there will be activities too like lighting of sparkles and games for whole family ! 

Good time of bonding too . 

Every Chinese New Year , i bet other than getting red packet ! Yu Sheng is something that everyone is looking forward too ! There will be a list showing that which ingredient you pour you will need to say some prosperity words and in certain ways. I did not managed to take picture of the paper because i am busy helping out in pouring and also taking picture ! 

Most people look forward to eat Salmon ! Sadly , i don't eat raw Salmon ! 

Maybe next time Yu Sheng can put other kind of fish inside . Anyone got any idea ? Share share ?

I still prefer chicken flavor instead of others. Surprising , the sauce is rather spicy ! 

As you know Local love spicy stuff and everything we eat , we need to have chili ! 

In other countries like Taiwan they don't take chili and i would recommend them to come Singapore to try and see whether they like it a not . Because previous i have friend from there fly into Singapore and they really love our Local Food . 

This will be one of the store i will recommend my friend to try ! 

Maxwell Road Soon Soon Popiah , Laksa 

Located : Unit 20 

Usually Popiah come in a roll but this is rather special ! It take so much effort to design it and make it looks nice . If they just put in anyhow , it will look very messy . But for this , i can tell that they make it look more neat and you can see all the toppings ! It rather YUMMY & CRISPY  !

If i am not wrong of the no of dishes, each group got to use the voucher to buy 11 different type of food back. Take a picture + Hashtag will get to walk away with something , if you are the fastest to complete !

LET'S GO ! 

Even though we cut short the waiting time , i always choose those which they can prepare in a blink of their eyes. I didn't went to buy noodles but fried dumpling instead.

The waiting time was less than 4 minutes ! It was the fastest dish ever found. 

The fried dumpling is nice . Not oily , but i feel that can put even more meat inside , so it will not feel like i am just eating the fried parts only. It meant to be small in size , maybe for me personally i will prefer those which have more meat inside of more fried part.

Out of so many dishes on the table , these are my Top 3 choices excluding those i share 

from my earlier writing . 

1. Chinatown Enak Fritters, Store 21 

I love the fried banana . Usually when you buy fried banana outside , when you eat it you will feel that you are eating the banana + oil . I really don't like because it feel really disgusting , but for this i don't feel oily . It kind of more to the dry side . The banana taste fresh and how i wish i can have the whole plate of fried banana to myself ;x 

2. Bugis Street Famous Hainanese Chicken Rice , Store 4 

I am a very meat person and everytime when i visit a hawker center to have my lunch or dinner. First store i will check out is actually chicken rice store . Those who know me well , 

i will always eat chicken breast meat , for me that part taste YUMMY ! From the picture you can tell that is not chicken breast meat , but is taste super awesome like how nice it look like from the picture . The meat is very tender and the skin is smooth . mixing it with the sauces it will make it more perfect. 

3. Sin Ming Road Rong Cheng Bak Kut Teh , Store 14 

Different kind of Bak Kut Teh . It's more spicy . Drinking one bowl alone will really kill my

 throat as i can't handle too much of it . I will recommend sharing instead. But those who love spicy you will definitely enjoy the soup and the meat !
