BANGKOK TRIP PART 1 Hello Kitty Cafe

After work , I head back home happily to pack my luggage , do some of my work before setting off to Airport to ton my night till my check in timing. I have already check all the necessary information like what is the last train , what i can do at the airport. I didn't know Airport is damn cool now ! When you overnight at the airport , you can check in early and enjoy the complimentary entertainment they have, like movie , play station and many more . Don't say I never share.
While I am in the train heading to the East my friend and my Fake parent call me up and ask me to go their house stay instead of overnight at Airport as it is not safe for a Girl. So after some thought I just went to their house . They even prepare a comfortable sleeping place for me . Super comfortable and with super strong fan facing me so that I will not feel hot . If I feel cold I can just cover it with my blanket. Awesome ! At least , I can have a few hours of rest before my flight. If not , Zombie mood for the whole trip.
Slept for only 3 hours and off we go to Singapore Changi Airport.
I went to check out the portable wireless data from Changi which is kinda of popular as there are bloggers sharing about it on their blog. At the end, I found out that it charge $10+ per day , for me it will be expensive because I be going for 5 days . To me, I think it will be suitable for people who is going country like Bali , KL e.g. so I am going to give it a miss to try out , I will go Bangkok airport to purchase their SIM card instead .
Went to the check in area. I am going to bring in cabin luggage only and of cos my bag. I am quite surprise that my cabin luggage weight 6kg. In my luggage , I did not bring much stuff. I even give a miss to bring my running shoes , I am going to wear my New Balance shoes instead. Will you want to guess how heavy my luggage will be when I am coming back to Singapore?
2 hour - 2 hour 15 mins flight from Singapore to Bangkok !
This is my second time going to Bangkok and I am so excited because I am going to shop a lot and bring back lots of lots of clothing back.
Before the flight , I was feeling unwell and I thought maybe is due to the car sick but after eating sweets I thought the pain is gone but after a while the feeling came back again . I think it might be the dinner I had last night before heading out :( Hopefully , I feel better when I touch down to Bangkok . I don't want to be sick throughout the trip ! Stomach please be nice to me , can?
Safely arrived @ Suvarnabhumi Airport BKK . Came out crazily looking for the tour guide or the driver. They suppose to wait for us then drive us from Airport to the hotel . But we keep searching high and low for them but we see no one. So my friend Cindy got to call all the way back to Singapore to check if they can help to call the driver. I think we waited for about 15 - 30 minutes , in order not to waste time waiting we went to purchase SIM card from 7 eleven.
I will introduce everyone to sign up the brand " TRUE MOVE" 3G tourist Inter SIM which cost 299 baht= $12.72 . Is unlimited usage of data for 7 days. Its cheap and worth it. Because nowadays people are very into social media - people like me always post photo on instagram @tiffanywong and Facebook ! So having unlimited date usage is very good !

Our mini coach came and send us to our hotel . During the bus journey , I think I am super irritating . I download Thai apps which is called " Thai Lite" and I keep practicing inside the bus . I think I am way too Lousy in my pronunciation till the driver keep laughing at me and correcting me . But I guess in this way , it will break the ice between him and us and at the same time we all can have fun too . Holiday is = FUN ! Despite practicing so many times , I don't remember it. At the end , I give up man . I just speak English and if cannot I will just used international sign language.
Arnoma Hotel Bangkok

In my own opinion, I think Arnoma Hotel is quite a good location because in-front of our hotel we have night market. Around the hotel , there is a few shopping malls ! Siam Paragon Shopping Center , MBK and many more . I believe that the platinum fashion mall is everyone shopping heaven. From my hotel to the mall is about 15 minutes . Super Near . After filling up the shopping bags , I can always walk back to the hotel to put down and head off to the second round of shopping.
By right , the room should have 3 beds instead of 2 .
It's because we check in early and they have not yet bring in the third bed.
Such a small place , I wonder how are they going to put the third bed ?

Once we put down our luggage , we head off for shopping !
" Night Market " just outside hotel .
During day time , there is still stores that is open .
Usually during the night , there will be more people and more choices of food and shopping !
The good thing about staying near shopping malls and " Night Market" is that during the night , I will no longer need to call Mac. I can just head down to Night Market to pack some food and maybe a can of beer back to the hotel to enjoy like a BOSS ! Air- con and is more comfortable compared to eating outside.
After putting our luggage inside our hotel room , we went off to nearby shopping mall to shop till drop. None of us tried taking tutut before , so we decided to take for the very first time. Before we set off , we will negotiate a price. Since we are heading down to Siam Square , the price he offer is 100 baht. For me its reasonable since its three people taking.
The experience was quite unique. Open concept and you get to be very near motor-vehicle.
When he is driving very fast , you can enjoy the cool breeze as this month Bangkok is hotter than Singapore.I guess other than all these mention , nothing else special . I will recommend you to take at least one time will do . Paying for the experience and nothing else.
Oh Yeah , since is a open concept do bare in mind to take care of your belongings. We will never know someone driving motorcycle in a very fast speed can just snatch away your bag. I am not saying that it will happened . But it is always good to do prevention before it is too late and we do not want anything to happened and at the end spoil the trip right ?
LINE is the first thing we saw when we reach SIAM SQUARE.
It's so cute , how can we not stop for a while and snap a picture with the cute background ?
I still remember the first time I use LINE was in Taiwan .
4 Months having internship there , I need to download LINE for me to communicate with my other
colleagues . From then on , I keep using till now . My fake parent is using LINE and I use that to communicate with them.

I am not really a fan of Hello kitty but since my friend like it . I don't mind visiting and trying out what they have in the store . I am quite looking forward to try their dessert thou.
Hello Kitty Cafe is indeed a nice place for photo taking
Heard from my friend that weekdays early afternoon its always a good time to come Hello Kitty Cafe because there are lesser people . If come during weekends, super is flooded with long Q and long waiting time . So during our scheduling of our trip , we plan to come Hello Kitty Cafe on the first day instead !
Some people don't mind Q-ing up but for me I mind as I don't like to waste time during my travelling.
Hello Kitty Cafe has three level .
Basement is for spa services. I am not sure about the price and I didn't bother to check the price as I believe it's going to be expensive. I prefer to have massage instead of spa.
Level 01 and 02 is for dining and great place to take tons of picture.
Sitting near the window
Enjoy a cup of coffee and a cake looking at people. Enjoy the scenery and relax !
I will not do it when I am in overseas but I will do it in Singapore because we got a lot of time to spend whereby in other countries there are limited time. Unless the main purpose of the trip is to explore cafe and to relax .
Different purpose fits for different kind of planning
Can imagine a group of friends sitting down here chit chatting , enjoy the food , enjoy the environment and most important is enjoy the company of your friends.
Anyone want to bring back the Hello Kitty Doll ?
So many cakes for us to choose .
We have a hard time thinking which one we want because all the cakes looks yummy and
the other side of it is that is good for photo taking.

Hello Kitty Rainbow Face Cake
This is the cake I have chosen . Even Thou I am not a Hello Kitty Fan , I find this cake really cute.
I don't like , doesn't mean that I can't enjoy their dessert right ?
The cake is really super sweet . I will recommend for everyone to share instead of each person a cake.
I will rate this 7/10 !
The price range is about 100 - 300 baht
To compare to Singapore cafe , the price is around the same . I guess Hello Kitty Cafe here is to earn tourist money . Maybe someone want to consider setting up a Hello Kitty Cafe in Singapore ?

Mango is sweet . Totally love it . Something special about this dish is again Hello kitty sticky rice!

Overall , I will rate 7/10 for Food , Service and Surroundings. Coming to Hello Kitty Cafe ones will be more than enough.
